Nadia (age 9, Indonesia) was born with Cerebral Palsy, CTEV (Congenital Talipes Equinovarus), and Scoliosis.
Nadia’s father always did everything he could to provide for her and her many medical needs, but a wheelchair was just too expensive. Without a wheelchair, Nadia hasn’t been able to attend school or play outside with her friends.
Last month, our CLASP Service Partner, UCP RUK, visited the home of Nadia to deliver her a brand-new UCP Liberty II wheelchair. UCP RUK staff members, wearing PPE to protect against the spread of coronavirus, made sure that the wheelchair was properly fitted for Nadia’s comfort and health.
For Nadia, her new UCP Liberty wheelchair has been a dream come true. For the first time, she can move freely through her home and even play with her friends outside. Most of all, Nadia can’t wait to go to school!
